A US Navy (USN) S-3B Viking aircraft assigned to the 'Maulers' of Sea Control Squadron 32 (VS-32) launches from the flight deck of the USN Aircraft Carrier, USS ENTERPRISE (CVN 65), while the ship is underway in the Atlantic Ocean conducting flight operation in support of Exercise SUMMER PULSE 2004. The Exercise envolves the simultaneous deployment of seven aircraft Carrier Strike Groups (CSG), demonstrating the ability of the Navy to provide credible combat power across the globe, in five theaters with other US, Allied, and Coalition Military Forces. Summer Pulse is the Navyss first deployment under its new Fleet Response Plan
