Two other things I wanted to note - the old, large-format, tripod-mounted still cameras, with their long exposures, captured a lot of the grey tones that get washed out today, which you have lovingly restored. Also, a typical modern fish-eye camera view of the scene would have resulted in extensive bowing and collapsing inward of the vertical posts, this way they stay uniformly vertical, adding to the excellent design of the piece. Whatever your technique is, you have used it with an artist's eye.

Since it would have been unlikely for you to be on the scene in 1910 with a DSLR, I assumed correctly that this was a restoration/reworking of an old archived photo. As such, it is a remarkable work of art, your attention to the details, luminosity and soft tones really highlight the great and complex space this once was. Absolutely stunning. As you probably know, this version of Penn Station was torn down in the 1960's, replaced by the current monstrosity (home to the equally monstrous NY Knicks), so this is an amazing reminder of what we have lost.
Doc Braham replied:
Hi Steve, Thank you for the really nice comments. Your right - I have developed a technique which restores old prints back to life as if I had the original negative. I'm writing a book which has dozens of examples of the technique. It's time consuming, but the results are as you say "Absolutely stunning" - Doc
